With the current Covid-19 situation we have drawn up some guidelines as we begin to re-introduce in person events. Please familiarise yourself with them.

Covid-19 Outdoor Workshop Guidelines

At UC Grace our aim is to keep you and our teachers safe, whilst having fun, growing closer to Jesus and reading his word. We ask that if you have chosen to attend one of our in person events you read and recognise the following.

  • Adhere to government guidance regarding Covid-19 symptoms and necessary isolation for prevention of the spread of the virus.
  • If you feel sick before a UC Grace event, please do not come. If you fall sick after a UC Grace event you have attended please inform us as soon as possible, so we can inform the necessary attendees.
  • Wherever possible adhere any social distancing rules in place.
  • It is your responsibility to be sensible in washing hands and maintaining effective hand hygiene, please bring your own hand sanitiser with you if you wish.
  • Bring any necessary drinks or snacks with you to the workshop, and please do not share.

1-2-1 Sessions

  • 1-2-1 sessions provide the chance for you to just work with Anna on some specific movement outside.
  • Please follow all the above guidelines when attending a 1-2-1.
  • You will need to provide your own equipment necessary for session.

Pod Groups

Workshops will be delivered in ‘pods’. As you arrive at the workshop you will assigned to a group of up to 6 people.

  • Pods will be spaced in their own area in the field and the event leader will communicate with each pod the exercises and activities for the workshop.
  • A maximum of 15 attendees will be allowed per workshop, this number will divided down into however many pods are needed.
  • Pod sizes and the amount of pods will be under review as and when new government guidance is released.

We recognise that children, by their very nature, love play, love contact and just being with others. Due to this we believe it is unrealistic to ask children to adhere to social distancing, therefore leaders will be interacting and encouraging fun, fellowship and learning in our usual interactive way when working with children.

We will encourage parents and carers to adhere to the necessary social distancing where possible between each other.

By choosing to attend an outdoor workshop with UC Grace you are accepting what has been explained in this document and understand that it is your responsibility to follow government guidelines and any other information that UC Grace puts forward.
