Our Christian dance workshops are one of our longest standing activities and way of connecting with people of all ages. They offer opportunities to explore worship dance and worship movement in a safe space with others. There are no judgements, the sessions provide a chance to try as much or as little as you want.
Our Living Colour workshops offer the the chance to gather and put creativity and movement at the heart of your faith. Both online and in person they offer some basic technique training, networking and Christian dance exploration. We seek to integrate the Father's heart, worship, God's word and movement. These sessions are open to people of all abilities, growing your skills and love for dance and movement with Jesus.
Children are one of our core passions, they are after all the next generation to share the word of God. We want to be able to offer an environment where they can recognise how fun and exciting the word of God is, how they can pray, how they can use their bodies to demonstrate what God is saying. But most of all we want their hearts on fire for Jesus, their inquisitive nature encouraged and their conversation and walk with God deepened.
Children have so much energy! So much Joy! At UC Grace we want to allow them space to be them selves, explore and learn about Jesus.
Workshops cover different dance styles, opportunities for getting messy and creative with craft, encouraging children to move, make and create using themes and stories for inspiration. Workshops run with a Christian theme, sharing the faith and dance in worship.
We want to encourage each child to become who they want to be with as few misconceptions as possible. This includes using music that doesn't portray adult themes or swear words; promoting right themes and good relationships.
Our children's work encompasses two groups called Moving Rainbows, and Little Rainbows.
Suitable for even the littlest of treasures. Join us for an hour of playing, dancing and crafting exploring themes from the bible. There is usually some kind of messy play involved, so don't expect children to stay clean!
Carers are encouraged to join in with the activities alongside the children. The session finishes with a fruit snack but we ask if parents could please bring a drink for their children.
This gets the not so little ones up and moving. Come along and have some fun exploring dance in worship and getting creative along the way. Children will have the opportunity to explore some dance in worship skills, as well as do some craft. No prior experience necessary.
