‘For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.’

Romans 15:4

Volunteer Dance Workshop Assistant

by | Apr 2, 2026 | Dance Ministry, Jesus for Kids, Worship Dance | 0 comments

Thank you so much for showing an interest in the Christian Dance Volunteer Workshop Assistant Role we are currently hoping to fill.

Our Children’s Christian dance workshops are centred around the ethos ‘Jesus for Kids’, a teaching book I have written (more information available here).

Where the heart of which is to enable children to have a deeper experience of their faith through the tool of dance and movement. Children will have the opportunity to develop key worship dance skills, putting movement to Scripture and explore ways to pray with movement rather than with voice.

The overall vision is to empower children and young people to understand worship as a way of life, experienced individually and corporately. Encouraging children and young people to come to Scripture first, understanding worship and prayer as an integral part of life that can be released through our bodies in movement.

As we seek to get these workshops re-started, we are looking for someone to come and assist and learn about leading dance in faith. We welcome those with a variety of experience, a passion to follow Jesus and move to his word is paramount.
